About the Artist

My creative inspiration comes from Nature and the beauty she provides for us. Through my art I attempt to portray the feeling I attain when hiking through wilderness areas, studying wildlife and backcountry canoeing. A simple ray of sunlight beaming through the clouds onto open waters never ceases to capture my soul. Perhaps the splendor of an early-morning sunrise, wildflowers in a meadow or the gentle mist of fog hanging over a range of mountains will provide inspiration. It is the recognition of adventurous moments in our natural world which elevates my creative spirit and informs the artist within me.
